The History of MacKinnon Motors: Mac (Oliver E. MacKinnon) started the business in 1927 (according to the current business permit date) in the same location as they are today. Mac was always there to fix your car, give advice, or just fill your bike tire. His son, Stanley MacKinnon, worked for Mac until he took over and ran the business as Owner/Operator after Macs death in 1977. Bob MacKinnon, Stanley’s son, has been the owner since 1987. Bob grew up working in the shop for his grandfather during the 70's and his father in the 80’s. Bob and his brother Bruce continued the tradition by meeting the same high quality standards that were set 80 years ago to satisfy every customer. |
